Megan Morrissey

Megan made a difference! I have had the great pleasure of having Megan on my team at Thule for 15 years. She was instrumental in transitioning Thule from a car rack company to an outdoor lifestyle brand at that time. Megan was a key leadership team member that delivered category expansion into three new categories, developed a true omnichannel approach to sales and marketing, and delivered impressive revenue growth. Megan is a demanding yet fair leader, she has high expectations of herself and her team, and they can always be counted on to deliver. When she came to me with the concept of opting out of our most important trade show and creating our own event, “City to Summit” I was extremely skeptical, but Megan presented compelling logic, financial analysis, and justification for this move. In my tenure at Thule this was perhaps one of the best moves we made. We were able to show our entire product portfolio, position our brand as an industry leader, and tell all our stories; something we could not do at a single trade show. I always thank her for convincing me to take this risk. As a leader. Megan empowered and mentored her team and they delivered. She was highly engaged with the sales team and was often requested by them to attend key account visits and work closely with our customers. She worked well with all departments and was well respected by all. As a colleague she was supportive, creative, and passionate; any company would benefit from having Megan on their team.

During our time at Thule, I had the pleasure of working with Megan for over 15 years.  A consummate marketing professional, she seamlessly blended past experiences with fresh approaches to expand the brands reach and relevance.  Leveraging analytics, strong organizational abilities and a commendable work ethic – she and her team could always be counted on to deliver impactful initiatives, programs or campaigns.She was always a consistent “protector of the brand” - while also finding thoughtful ways to engage new customers and help find new markets.   Her approach with other departments was always collaborative and her impact and leadership went beyond the marketing department.  

I have known Megan since 2015 during her tenure at Thule. She is an excellent marketeer and has made significant contributions to the marketing efforts here at Thule. As a result of her leadership, talent,and creativity, we consistently exceeded our sales and profit margins. She spearheaded the launch of many new categories of products such as Strollers and Roof Top Tents which positively impacted the Thule operations in the Americas. Working with Megan has been a great learning opportunity. She is a pleasure to work with.

I had the privilege of working with Megan for the better part of 9 years and witnessed firsthand her ability to effectively lead both within a team, as well as an organization at large. As a manager, she strikes the perfect balance of providing her team members with high-level oversight while simultaneously allowing ample opportunities for professional growth and ownership of individual areas of responsibility. Megan knows how to drive a brand forward and create positive organizational momentum, and she simply does not back down from the challenges that come with that level of work. I am grateful for the time spent learning from and working with Megan.

Megan is extremely passionate about her work and fully invests herself in whatever project she is working on. Over the nine years that I have worked for her, she has brought creative and empowering leadership skills to her team. Thought-driven research, an understanding of the big picture, and a focus on delivering on all of her projects are skills she will add to any organization.
